DEC NEWS & UPDATES
There have been a lot of things going on since our last update. We hope we covered it all but if not, let us know what we missed!
PAST EVENT UPDATES
Our Woodinville Wine Tour Experience as it was originally planned was cancelled, mainly because we didn't meet the minimum necessary for the luxury transportation, wine guide, etc. We appreciate the feedback provided so far, and we are always open to more. We are constantly tweaking our process and working towards well-attended, and well-received events. The few of us that signed up decided to go wine tasting on our own and had a blast! We plan on trying again next year if there is interest.

We had a fun time for our impromptu November Happy Hour so thank you again to Kim Pelham for the suggestion. It was a great venue to check out and we will perhaps schedule a group dinner there at some point.
VIP MEMBER UPDATES
We now have our 10 VIP Charter Members. Yay! When we started this we retailed the membership at $97 per month, and love that we were able to offer it at such a crazy low rate for members that will offer feedback, and be a part of our growth. However, we aren't going to full price just yet. The next 10 members that join will get in at a membership price of $24.99/month.
It takes a lot of work to plan these fun events for you, and it is important that we cover our costs to continue this vision. We want to bring you more events and that also means that we need more members! There is a plan that is percolating to benefit you and help us increase our membership at the same time so stay tuned. In the interim, who do you know that is a good fit for the Secret Travel Society? Have them apply today!
RSVP CHANGES
The other change that we implemented just a few days ago is a change to how you RSVP to our Social Hour Events (formally known as Happy Hour Events). It is important to minimize no shows as much as possible, and we need your help. In most cases we make arrangements with the venue to make sure we have enough space, and when it makes sense, negotiate extra perks for our group. So, it is important that we follow through.
To help us keep our commitment to ourselves to have fun and live life to it's fullest, our minor change is as follows:
VIP Members and Guest/Meetup Members pay the $6 fee to RSVP.
The usual cancellation policy applies and the fee is non-refundable to no-shows. If you are a VIP Member, we will apply $5 to your bill!

NEW EVENTS
We are excited to bring more exciting and fun events so here are just a few on our calendar and there are more to come! Many of the events we have added are VIP Member only events so you won't see them unless you are signed in and have purchased a VIP Membership.
If you want to get tickets for Mama Mia, please contact us directly to see if there are any seats near our group. The tickets sold out for the Feb 4th date that we were initially looking at so we had to quickly move on another date. It is now on Thursdaynight on Feb 22nd.
Also, we are pre-selling tickets for Teatro ZinZanni on Friday March 9th so if you are interested in attending, please purchase your deposit and we will invoice the balance of the event cost 30 days prior to the event start. We need all deposits in by Wed Dec 13th.
NON-HOSTED EVENTS
There are a few events that we are experimenting with on our calendar and those are called Non-Hosted Events. That simply means there is no guarantee Andrea or Monica will attend and it may be something we haven't personally planned, but it looks and sounds so super awesome we can't help but share it with our VIP Members. They can be fantastic travel specials, a fun local Wine Walk, or the like. Let us know what events you want to see!
